Sana Krasikov

Sana Krasikov – prozaiczka. Urodziła się na Ukrainie, wychowała w Gruzji, mieszka w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Jej teksty publikowano m.in. w “The New Yorker” i “The Atlantic Monthly”. Za swój debiutancki zbiór opowiadań Jeszcze rok /One more Year/ otrzymała National Book Foundation’s “5 Under 35” Award, a także prestiżową Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature 2009. Książka znalazła się również w finale Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award 2009 i The New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award. Była gościem MFO w 2010 roku. /www.czarne.com.pl/

Sana Krasikov was born in the Ukraine and grew up in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia and in the United States. Her debut collection was named a finalist for the 2009 PEN/Hemingway Award and The New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award. It received a National Book Foundation’s “5 under 35″ Award and won the 2009 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. She is the recipient of an O. Henry Award, a Fulbright Scholarship, and a National Magazine Award nomination. Her stories have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, The Virginia Quarterly, Epoch, Zoetrope, A Public Space, and elsewhere. She was guest of the festival in 2010. /www.randomhouse.com/
