Jakub Żulczyk (1983) is a prose writer and screenwriter. He debuted in 2006 with the novel “Zrób mi jakąś krzywdę” (Harm me somehow), in 2008 he published “Radio Armageddon” which in 2015 was adapted for the stage of the Wroclawski Teatr Współczesny. Żulczyk is also the author of the novels “Instytut” (2010), “Zmorojewo” and “Świątynia”. For “Ślepnąc od świateł” (“Blinded by the Lights”, 2014) he was nominated to “Polityka” Passports Award and Gwarancje Kultury Prize. He is the co-author and co-screenwriter of the “Belfer” television series (Canal plus) based on his idea, as well as of the “Blinded by the lights” series (HBO, 2018). In 2017 his most recent novel – “Wzgórze psów” (The Dog Hill) was published.
